Ieving time,?ient So I've been seeing my man for about 3 months, we meet on an online dating page. We were both freshly single after long committed relationshipship, except sadly, his wife passed. we orginally started talking and both were thinking rebound sex, since we are both sexual people. Although, since the first time we started communicating, we have been insepetatable. We talk, text, email, everyday and morning! He is a hardworking, single dad with young childred just like myself and shares the same daily stuggles and values as me. We feel like a perfect match, except with a few minor/major details, we live 2 hours away and we both are single parents with 3 kids each (2 dogs each too!). My problem is we both have full time jobs and are single parents, but still have managed to see each other once a week. His family ( ex laws) and child have no idea I exsist, I am totally understanding and empathedic for them since its such a recent loss and sad thing. But, in I'm ready to move forward. Is this too soon, three months? How soon is too soon to for the young kids and family to know about me? My friends and family know but, its a different situation for me??? Should I give him actually breathing room or

first off, may I ask? Are you a man too? You said you are a single dad just like him, and your screen name says Nick in it. If so, Daddy coming out of the closet a few months after Mommy died is probably way way way too soon.

 

However, if you miss wrote that. It is still way to soon. His kids just lost their mother, and he just lost a wife. He may think he loves you, probably because he is using you to fill the void of not having his wife around any more. I would keep a little bit of distance, especially around his kids, until you are all very serious... I'd say wait several more months.
