He completely disrespected me at the break up, leaving me for someone else and barely apologizing or seeing my distress. Admittedly, I didn't help things by trying to contact him after his constant ignoring, but now I know it is time. Despite him telling me he wanted to see for a friendship in the future (the one time he actually responded), I text him a month or so later - about a week ago - and told him I never want to hear from him or speak to him again. He hurt me deeply, it was time to get my self-respect and my control back. I have never been a push over in my life, and he is certainly no exception. Moreover, I know after sending that text, there is no way back. I have made it clear we are nothing to each other now. I cannot turn around from that. Goodbye to the "man" I once knew. Onwards and upwards. 2
ConfusedT Posted April 29, 2013 Posted April 29, 2013 Congrats honey! I know how hard it is, been through it before. Took about 5-6 Months for me to move on, and I am going through it now. He obviously wasnt the right man for you or he would have tried and at least apologized for what he did.. Leaving for another is the worst, but if he cheated on you with her, he'll cheat on her with another. I feel your pain and I hope things do only get better and better for you!
