denxnis Posted April 28, 2013 Posted April 28, 2013 Living is not getting comfortable with what you have and where you are at, living is about taking chances and exploring the unknown. If my ex and I had not broken up 7 months ago I would never have made all of these positive changes in my life. If we had stayed together I would have remained the same pessimistic unhappy person that I was. These moments in life, these challenges, are here to make or break you. You can either progress in life and make something better of yourself or you can crumple. The life you had with your ex may have been comfortable but it was also a stagnant one, it's ok you can admit it. Nobody likes to look at stagnant water. What happens to water that's just been sitting there? It turns brown and begins to smell. Be a waterfall, embrace the change and push through whatever tries to hold you back. Good night all and take care. “Getting over a painful experience is much like crossing monkey bars. You have to let go at some point in order to move forward.” -C.S. Lewis 3
