Should I add him or wait to see what he tells me next time

I need some advice on what to do. There's this guy that I have know for about a year but we had never talked before. Last a couple of weeks ago the day after my brothers wedding he was talking with my mom and i was their to be we didn't really talk. Last Sunday I saw him again and he told me he was looking for me on Facebook because he wanted to add me. I told him my name on Facebook. Then he told me something but I didn't hear him I just heard him tell me that his name on FB was ______ and I just said oh ok. But a week has passed and he hasn't added me yet. I don't know if he told me to add him but I feel kinda weird adding him. He used to like my cousin and I don't want to add him really because I know my family and they are going to start saying that I just added him because I want to talk to him just because he liked my cousin. They neer went out but still everyone in my family thinks that my cousin is better looking and everything. i kinda wanted to wait for him to add me so that if they said anything i could just say that i accepted him it was no big deal idont know what to do. I know i could just ad him and get it over wit but i think i kinda like him so its kind of important that i do the right thing. Should I just wait to see what he tells me next time I see him?

well, if you add the guy on facebook, and you feel ok chancing it, fine, but, these descisions are efforts to encourage a guy who might prefer to do the chasing, he might not want a girlfriend, just be friendly when you see him

 

ffs stop worrying about your cousin unless she's worrying about you. seriously, sorry but i have the impression that her parents must be bigwigs in your family, to the extent that you have been neglected a bit, this happened to me, same thing, wonderful cousins, me not so much, but not when i look back and see cousins' flaws

 

you never know who is going to fancy who

you could meet somebody entirely new on the bus tomorrow
