Lovels Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 My ex broke up with me nearly two months ago because she said her feelings have changed. Well after the break-up, I continued to talk to her and over the weeks I, as well as my friends, thought she wanted me back. Well today, we had a conversation (through text) and she ends up telling me that she considers me one of her best friends that she can tell anything too and although our feelings for one another are different, she still wants me in her life. I was floored. It felt as if she ripped my heart out of my chest once again. Best friends? I don't know what to say to her anymore. She has texted me back asking what was wrong, but I have not answered. I don't even know where to start.
Keenly Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 You're gonna have to tell her you can't just be her friend. Its obvious that it hurts you too much. 1
DavidSoBased Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 Don't speak to her unless she wants reconciliation. The same thing happened to me, just not two days later. It's a truly selfish thing for the dumper to ask after doing what they did.. but then I assume that my story is different from yours.. I'm a bit jaded by my experience to be honest.

I was fooled into thinking if I could keep contact as friends I could get our love to grow back. Wrong.
Sososad Posted April 26, 2013 Posted April 26, 2013 Horrible situation we try keep them happy Even though its our hearts ripped out. What you done you believed was right but now you gotta let her Go at least pull her safety net . She has the best of both worlds with you around and her single life. It's time to be selfish and look after your own life and your heart! Be strong and go no contact try clear your head .
