I have been great for about 2 weeks, have had 0 desire to contact ex... I woke up today longing to communicate suddenly. Wtf just happened.

The third and fourth week are the hardest. When I was NC with my ex for two months, I remember week three being dreadful. Just push past it by doing things you enjoy, writing all of your feelings out (but not sending them!) and powering through it. Take it one day at a time, you're allowed to have days where you feel weaker. Just remember that there will be days when you feel better, too, and it's not worth it to contact her and screw that up!

I woke up the exact same way.

I had a dream mine was with someone else and it just ****ed with me. It's his birthday on Tuesday and I've got his present in my house and so I've had to stay at a friends because it's hitting me too much to be at home alone.

 

Is there anything you can do as a distraction? Well.. as good a distraction as you can get I suppose.

I am trying to stay as busy as possible at work. I had to throw away everything I had that reminded me on her/ that I bought her/ she gave me. It is nice knowing there isn't anything left of her in my house. I would smash the gift you got him. It will feel really good. I did that with a few items and it was therapeutic. It has been 3 months since the breakup for me.

 

 

I am pissed off that I am feeling this way today.
