backspn Posted September 20, 2004 Posted September 20, 2004 I have a few post in here so far....so I'll keep it short. In my last post I explained the last week of things that went down. Here: http://www.loveshack.org/forums/t47868/. I initiated NC for the next few weeks to see if she will call and also to see if she is thinking of me. This week is my birthday and Im not expecting a call from her so its ok I guess. But her birthday is next Monday. Here is my problem. What should I do? Do I acknowledge her birthday? I was thinking of sending her flowers to her dorm room on Monday. Im confused and not sure what to do. My other way of thinking is to wait til the NC period ends for me...which I am planning at the end of Oct. I know it all depends on her to end the NC but if she doesnt by then I was going to send a text to her saying a simple hello. I need some input on this. If I send her something or acknowledge her I will be breaking the NC but if I dont then I feel I will alienate myself from her. Someone told me that if I dont do anything for her birthday then she might think to herself what is up...why hasnt he called to wish me happy birthday? Help on this please. p.s....I would really like an honest answer about this too.....this is the longest time we have gone without talking to each other in almost 3 yrs...do you think she is thinking of me and missing me? Do you think she wants to call but has too much pride to make the first move?

The end of October?! Dang. That's a long time NC. I say wait and see what she does for your birthday. If she ignores it, ignore hers....and vice versa.

FORGET HER... there are others... if not... hmmm... do nothing... and wait for her to make the first move.... I've learned my lesson when it comes to breaking NC.. it's not good......... I've done NC for 4 weeks now..... and this is after she flipped on me on the phone.... so i feel good... in fact i feel fantastic.... cause i know and am sure that i' not a stalker.. i'm not obsessed (well... not really... i just really CARED for her) and i'm not the one with the emotional/situational problems..... if your good... be good...don't go back and be horrible.........
