spiderowl Posted April 22, 2013 Posted April 22, 2013 I'm wondering why some people can't move on after a relationship has ended, if they were the one who was 'dumped'? Some go through a period of mourning the loss and then eventually accept it's not going to happen and orientate themselves towards other things and people. Others just can't seem to. I have a friend who has been mentally 'attached' to a woman who left him five years ago. I know he's a bit extreme but accepts he can't seem to move on. I know a break-up is exceedingly painful, can be agonising at the time even, but why do some come to terms with it eventually and move on whereas others can't?
