And that right there is the reason why you are not a good partner in a conversation, and why you do your cause a terrible disservice as well

You start right off with "I'm absolutely right and anyone who does not agree with me is ignorant."

You are exactly the same as the atheists who come at YOU with "The authenticity and accuracy of scripture is only believable to those who are out of touch with reality."

If your only target audience is those who are exactly aligned with you in all of your beliefs, why do you even post here? "Preaching to the choir" is your thing. You can't communicate with anyone who doesn't want to understand the bible as proof of UFO's and "teleporting." You just stand on your soapbox and proclaim over and over, "I'm right and you all are wrong, because I am the ONLY one here who is capable of understanding what I read."

Not a good platform. I'm sure there are fringe fundie boards where you can bolster the imaginations of other likeminded folks without having to be bothered by actually considering and addressing different points of view.

How much research have you, personally, done on the subject of Scripture's authenticity? Please estimate in hours.

Lay off the jack daniels.

Are you aware some of the disciples were medical doctors, tax officials, and other jobs requiring sobriety?

Jesus was able to walk on water, walk through walls/doors, and perform other physical miracles.

There is one miracle, however, that I just found which I had been reading right past for years. If you read the following paragraph, it is clear that Jesus transported his boat and all the disciples 3-4 miles instantly, as if he was capable of teleportation:

"When evening came, his disciples went down to the sea, got into a boat, and started across the sea to Capernaum. It was now dark, and Jesus had not yet come to them. The sea became rough because a strong wind was blowing. When they had rowed about three or four miles, they saw Jesus walking on the sea and coming near the boat, and they were frightened. But he said to them, "It is I; do not be afraid." Then they were glad to take him into the boat, and immediately the boat was at the land to which they were going." (John 6:16-21 ESV)

Why not? Part of being a Christian is believing in your heart that God and Jesus can break the laws of physics. The story of Adam's origin is about God transmuting the sands of the Middle East into living protein... Jesus walked on water which wasn't frozen... he also turned water into wine and rose from his grave without having undergone any decomposition... there's a lot of physically impossible stuff described in the Bible, but what does science know?

Read Autobiography of a Yogi, which is a spiritual classic and often assigned reading in university religion and philosophy courses. Yogananda traveled the world and reported on many miraculous experiences meeting living saints of various religions.

He teleported to work every day and brought his own lunch--usually a matzo with gefilte fish.

How many theologians have debated the ancient texts for centuries? And the result is what? How many religions do we have?

Why would you think you have it all figured out when legions before you who dedicated their lives to this can't agree on much of anything?

Can you read the original texts in the original language(s)? That is pretty much a starting point for a true theologian. Many of the finer points of contention result from arguments about the original meaning when the language can be interpreted in different ways.
