Author raider09 Posted April 21, 2013 Author Posted April 21, 2013 when can i expect her to contact me you think?
youngnlove89 Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 when can i expect her to contact me you think? She should've by now. That's cute what you did, but to me it doesn't seem like she is fully interested. 4
Author raider09 Posted April 21, 2013 Author Posted April 21, 2013 ok got it so its 2 days long enough to know that she is not interested 2
HoneyBadgerDontCare Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 Omg no! That's the worst thing someone can do. This woman is at work. She HAS to be nice and conversive. She is trapped there, unable to be herself, to bring sexual interest to her work is to for e her into a position where she really can NOT say how she feels about his interest. If she likes him she's flirting and her boss could freak. If she turns him down she's being mean and losing business. The WORST thing a person can do is repeatedly come onto you at work. The note was a good idea. But she did NOT call, take it as a she's not interested. If you keep going there she is going and trying to flirt she's going to see you as a creeper who doesn't respect her polite hints of no interest. If you are patron, fine, act as you always would, but do not pester this girl and make her hate going up work because she has to deal with customers who don't get it. I deal with that kind of stuff at my work. It makes me hate my job. If a man passes me his number and I do not call, that is my hint: thank you but no thank you. I never said I went out of my way to go somewhere to flirt with a girl. It was places I frequented. I would usually talk to all of the staff and flirt with the ones I REALLY liked. That's how I got my current gf. She turned me down the first time I asked too. 1
HoneyBadgerDontCare Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 ok got it so its 2 days long enough to know that she is not interested No. If you do what I told you to do, the chances of your success with increase exponentially (which makes sense, right? Doing something is better than doing nothing). I also suggest talking to multiple women at one time.
youngnlove89 Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 ok got it so its 2 days long enough to know that she is not interested YES. I would have called the same day if I were interested. 1
charlietheginger Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 If she plays "the rules" she will wait 3 days If she is a normal non mindgame playing chick prob a day Or so.
johan Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 She may not really think you're interested. Next time you go in, give her flowers and also order the extra large coffee. Then drink the coffee while sitting at a table where you can see her and try to make eye contact as much as possible. 1

married2school Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 If she hasn't called within a few days, I'd definitely assume she's not interested. I would call within at least a couple of days if I was interested... I'd say act normal when you go back to Starbucks. I mean I think it's fine to be a normal friendly and polite patron, but I definitely would not blatantly flirt anymore. Side note: I was with a guy friend at a pizza place once who thought the waitress was cute. He owed me for something I think... so he ended up paying. He left his number on the receipt with a note, "She's not my girlfriend." Told him good luck with getting a date...

Author raider09 Posted April 21, 2013 Author Posted April 21, 2013 I pick up coffee every morning on my way to class. I will go in order coffee and pretend that nothing happened.
AKisBaked Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 LOL it would be funny if you knew her name and you went to another starbucks and bought her a drink with her name on it and brought it to her at work.
Author raider09 Posted April 21, 2013 Author Posted April 21, 2013 I'm not going to that extreme. I'm just going to keep it Casual. I'm hoping she says something to me.
Disinterested Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 so i find this starbucks barista girl attractive, i told her that she looked familiar and she said she just moved to the area. i said nevermind and then she said that she was curious to know as to why i asked and i left. fast foward to next time i see her i am waiting in line she sees me and says hi its very busy so i dont have time to conversate. so the next day i go in and i give her a note with a message "your cute let me get to know you" and the my phone number. ive been waiting for 2 days. is she interested ? is it ok if i go to starbucks what do i say if i see her? You don't sound calm enough and confident enough to go after the starbucks girl all the other guys are going after.
Disinterested Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 GAWD! If this is how guys seriously think its no wonder I've had this problem so many times. Argh I hate my job! Stop working fast food. 1
youngnlove89 Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 Please do not give her flowers. I second this and P.S. buttercup, I love your signature, that movie is my favorite!!
HoneyBadgerDontCare Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 Please do not give her flowers. I agree. Flowers don't work and they're too much money. One time, I MADE a flower out of paper and gave it to her. It took me like 5 minutes and cost me $0. Worked well.
Disinterested Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 Please do not give her flowers. I would do it just for the hilarity. Maybe also to scare her a bit and to intrigue her a bit.
Catteis Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 Order a cup of coffee without saying hi or showing any interest in her. Sometimes girls act standoffish because they like to be chased, when you stop chasing them, they panic and try to get you to chase them again (if they're interested).
Author raider09 Posted April 21, 2013 Author Posted April 21, 2013 You don't sound calm enough and confident enough to go after the starbucks girl all the other guys are going after. I am confident in my ability to ask someone out . I am a bit nervous when it comes to doing it in public and I actually have before and I got turned down . It didn't really bother me as I wasn't that interested in her. What would you do in my situation I know that baristas have to be nice I'm not trying to push it. How can I make a good impression if I see her again ?
