So it's been 3 months since we broke up and he's been taking his Thursday to spend time with me to start reconciliation. We've spend a lot of the time just cuddling and watching movies, and just talking [even on the phone ] like we use to. I've noticed he's talking to other girls but, it's nothing to over react to because he's a natural flirt. It's apart of his personality and it doesnt bother me. The only set back right now I think his my relationship with his parents.

They sort of have it out for me and I would love to have a better relationship with them, and his family in order to have a much better relationship with him this time around because he's stresses over it. I'm working on a letter to his parents apologizing to his parents as we speak and hopefully that will open the line to a better relationship maybe not right now but, in the near future. My ex says he's still really attracted to me not just physically, but, emotionally as well. We had a long talk about everything and there's still somethings we both need to work on but, he also asked me to give him the chance to show that he's making the effort to try again. He's still worried we'll fight again? Advice?

What do you think, am I just over thinking, selfconscious, insecure thinking that he's not making the effort. He's been making all the calls and planning what we will do.

Id say yep...You're insecure....

Ask yourself. Is this the way YOU want to be treated?

He's never cheated on me on me though while we were together. He's just a really friendly person like I said. He's always treated me like a queen, wanting to spoil me.

Uhhhmmm.....OK.....

But truth told...Not too many women are going to see things your way here. Flirting with other women/girls is NOT treating a SO like a Queen. More like one of the women in his Harem...

But hey, if it works for you.....

But, we aren't together really we are still trying work on things not with just us as a couple but, ourselves as an individual.

Who are we to stop you in your pursuit of happiness? If your pursuit of happiness includes him flirting with your maid of honor on your wedding day then so be it. Since you're fine with it and everything. Honestly, I think everyone deserves another chance if they are truly genuine about it.

Why do you need to apologize to his parents? Did you wrong them personally somehow, or are they just mad at you because you hurt their sweet baby boy or something?

It's complicated not, a whole lot of it, it's not my fault. We use to fight a lot and it would upset them because it would put him under a lot of stress. But, they liked me at first but, it's now all of a sudden they don't like me. I dunno.

I admire you for writing a letter to his parents and apologizing. It is a rare person that can admit that they were wrong and apologize. That is a giant step in the right direction. You sound great, and it sounds as if your guy really likes you a lot, and it sounds as if you all want to make things work.
