So I decided to make a thread after reading a few similar threads. It's this girl at the starbucks i always go to to study. I also happen to work for starbucks, but a different store from this one. I could tell she was new because she didn't really know what she was doing, but upon our first encounter she came off kind of like an *******, like when the transaction was finished she said "okay now go away" but seeing her a few more times i realized, or at least i think, that it's a flirtacious sort of teasing (?)

the third time or so she's helped me she said "oh hey buddy, and kept giving me this friggin look, and when i asked for something she kept saying no in that teasing manner, but obviously fulfilled my wishes because it her job lol.

I've read about "making her laugh" and such, but the issue is that by the time i get there i've been up since 630 in the morning and ive been through about 4 hours straight of classes and my day isn't even half over, and im kinda terrible when it comes to the whole guy girl thing. What do I do/does anybody think of the situation?

I think she should work on her social interactions.

I always make sure that when I am playfully teasing someone that they know that I am doing so, and doing so out of affection.

Is it bad that all I see when I see ______________ is basically something sexual?

Nope. Completely normal. Unless we're both perverts.

I think that explanation is more likely.

What do I do?

Ask her out, maybe?

I mean I could just go balls out and do it, but I was seeking perhaps a smoother approach? Other threads and a couple replies in this one pretty much tell me to be blunt and do it in a stupid/silly way. I guess that's how its gotta be.

Why do you give a sh@t?

She's some girl who works behind the counter at Starbucks who you know absolutely nothing about except that her facial bones happen to shaped in a way that you somehow find pleasing.

Ask her or don't.:bunny:

I'm starting to wonder about a Starbucks barista as well. I went in today, all decked out in black with my leather jacket. She smiled at me and said, "I see you like to wear one color. Remember when you came in wearing all denim?"

That was a year ago. I was impressed that she remembered. I said so, and her reply was, "Of course I remember. Have a nice evening."

It probably doesn't mean anything, but she's kind of cute, so maybe I should consider pursuing her? Or at least drinking my coffee at the store to give myself an opportunity to converse with her when there aren't any patrons placing orders?

i caught her as she got off, asked if she wanted to sit and talk, we did for a solid 45 minutes, it was great! i had to leave and asked if she'd like to get together sometime, and she got extremely flustered and told me she was gay
