why doesn't my manager notice me?

Im new and I work at a restaurant. Im the cashier and ever since the interview I fell for him. Hes every girls dream guy. I know hes single because I asked my coworkers but anyways, I added him on fb and today when I walked in he gave me a look of "were friends now" type. I cought him staring at me twice but I still think he doesn't like me because if h did hed tell me right? Anyway, what to do so he can notice me or what to do so he can like me? I knowww im an adult and asking this stupid question but seriously I dont know what to do ughhh I want him NOW!

Don't try and date your manager. If there aren't workplace policies against it, he'll probably try to avoid it because he's your boss, and there would be worries about favortism, blah bah blah. Plus, even if he does like you, what if things didn't work out? Guess who they're going to get rid of?

 

Just...find someone who isn't in authority over you in any way.

Perhaps he doesn't want to take advantage of you because he's your manager. And he doesn't want to be accused of favouritism.

 

You've got a crush on him. It doesn't mean that you have to act on it. Workplace romances can get quite messy, especially if it ends badly.

You have to take that sort of thing slow, talk a bit, make chit chat ask about his personal life, what he does, where he goes...also if it doesn't go well be prepared to get fired and possibly have a bad job reference because of it. When you're a teenager (you sound like teen/college) working a low wage job this kind of thing doesn't matter but when you are an adult working on a career it can ruin your life.
