itto ogami Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 No Contact is the only way to shut her down. Her wheels will endlessly spin by not getting a reaction. Arguing feeds her beast -- starve it. You win. 1
Author steveT95 Posted April 19, 2013 Author Posted April 19, 2013 She has text again this morning asking what I did with a necklace she made me. Didn't reply. It really doesn't matter what I did with it. Going to pawn it
TaraMaiden Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 sell it on ebay as a 'unique piece'. But quite right. Don't reply to her. Power, Steve...... Power.
GorillaTheater Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 Nicely said GT. We are indeed far more talented at verbal @sskicking. Men are better at..uh..hmmm.... Killing scary bugs?
TaraMaiden Posted April 19, 2013 Posted April 19, 2013 (edited) Killing scary bugs? Nah...not even. My H (ex military police officer and Royal Bodyguard, no less), is phukkin' petrified of anything with six legs or more. That job is mine. And I don't kill. Capture, release outside somewhere safely. Author steveT95 Posted April 20, 2013 Author Posted April 20, 2013 Yeah, I don't kill either. If it comes in my house it normally gets popped in a jar and released outside..or fed to the fish As Tara knows, last night she contacted me again saying 'why are you ignoring me, it's ridiculous' Ridiculous for her because it is getting to her. I love it! Although if I am honest, this evening I have really wanted to speak to her. Obviously I didn't. The anger has eased off a bit too. I kinda feed off of her contacting me and me ignoring it, I find it empowering.
itto ogami Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 I hear you but be careful -- when she stops contacting you, you don't want to miss the breadcrumbs. My ex has sent four messages over the past 40 days of NC and while it feels good to know they're thinking of you (and they are), I know I'll feel another void when the messages stop coming. But I'm getting better, the tears have stopped flowing over the past two weeks and while it's hard at times as we all know, time takes care of all. Stay NC!
iouaname Posted April 21, 2013 Posted April 21, 2013 Yep, there's a certain amount of pride that comes along with receiving the breadcrumbs because you know that they are thinking about you, and you know that you have the upper-hand. The problem is that once the contact gets broken, that goes away. For me, that is what happened. I was in control and had maintained my dignity, and now I am "the psycho-ex who won't leave him alone."

I'd block her personally.
