So things ended with ex and I right about the time I was slated to take a 6 week leave of absence from my job in a major city to move to a very tiny town 3 hours away to be a full time caretaker for my Dad who has bad cancer. Hence, it's been harder to find comfort in break up times since I'm away from all my friends and there's really only so much distraction you can find in a town of 350 people with full time care giving duties. But this site and some of the people here have really been my only comfort at times, so even though I'm not down with all the popular music these days, I felt like this song offers some tenet of truth for all of us.
