bohica Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 My ex girlfriend and I haven't spoke in three months. I am in a creative industry where she also provides a service. Having worked together in the past she was referred and booked through me on a job scheduled for late May. She almost backed out the last minute when the job was booked 6 months ago. When the job was booked (btw:the client is paying her separate) she was highly recommended by me and referred to as part of my team. I am meeting with the client tomorrow to go over details and to pick up payment. Good practice is to let those people who are involved with the job know that I am meeting with the client and to make sure everything is o.k. This way there are no surprises when I meet the client. Also, I don't think I will be seeing her at the job. By the time I get there she should be done and gone. There is though a 30% chance it can happen, depending on the clients needs. Not sure if I should break NC for this one. I have legitimate reason to but I am not sure. If I did it would be a simple email. No calls, nothing personal. ~confused
