KatZee Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 Maybe because you haven't tempted Satan, but now you have. That's why I don't like those dumb board games playing with the devil, it's just inviting him in. No, no. Nothing like what OP wrote has ever happened to me. Ever. I've always been highly spiritual. How have I now tempted Satan?
youngnlove89 Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 No, no. Nothing like what OP wrote has ever happened to me. Ever. I've always been highly spiritual. How have I now tempted Satan? I'm not really serious, I don't think you have tempted him. But it sounded good ;p Maybe God has a protective shield on you. Who knows. We only can guess, nobody really knows the truth. Maybe it's a disorder we have that you don't. Maybe it's this or that.

Eve Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 Yes!!! Although not good necessarily in a human sense, but good from God's Kingdom standpoint. Just look at Jesus. He was tempted by Satan before he entered his 3 years of public ministry and ultimately went to the cross. Not good from a human understanding, but good for the kingdom. It can be good in both senses as God is soon to recover the Earth - playtime is nearly over for the fallen. What matters is how we connect with God and then with others. The demon things want us to be obsessed with them because they really believe they are going to get to torture us for eternity in hell and they like that **** - same for their followers here. They are utterly ruined. I heard today that the 30th April is BIG on the satanic calendar so they will all be doing their dirty things now in preparation - these rituals are also why these entities try to come bother us at certain times. Just be ready. They are so stupid that they often actually can't help but state what their agenda is when they come - not sure if you can hear them. Take care, Eve x

geegirl Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 I am more spiritual than completely religious but I do regularly cleanse my house through smudging where I walk through my apartment and speak out loud that nothing evil or that is of harm to me is welcome in my home. I sprinkle holy water and say out loud that no evil shall inhabit my home as I walk through the apartment. Even when I incense. If my neighbors can hear me when I am standing outside my doorway and speaking out loud, I wonder what they must think! I have noticed that when my spirit is weak, in that I am sick or down, I get these attacks. I haven't had one in awhile (just jinxed it).
ComingInHot Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 M3USA, I am going to just copy and paste One of my experiences I posted in a thread here back in like December, "Another experience was having a thick black "thing" pushing down on me where I couldn't breathe. It was dark but this "thing" was still darker. I prayed and then yelled for help. My brother came in, his eyes got huge and he grabbed me & started praying too. The black thing released me and disappeared. To this day, we talk about it and daily put on or pray on the "armor of God"." I get it. It reminds of satan going to God saying show me your greatest servant and God pointing out Job and satan said he could turn him away from God and God said Go Ahead give it a shot but you cannot kill him. God thought Greatly of Job and was so proud and sure of Job's love in Him that he allowed satan to literally bring this man to his knees. Job did not curse God or turn his back on God at all. (He did get whiny, but wouldn't most of us after what satan did to Job? I would probably whine a bit myself). The LAST thing satan wants is for You (anyone) to become strong in Christ and the Father. It's rather damaging to satan's ultimate goal which is Not to win (satan and Everyone already know the ending) but to take as many souls away from the Kingdom of God. Expect "attacks" and demons routinely sent to look for "chinks" in your armor. Clean you House Often! As often as you clean your sins away! You must be some kind of special if you have the bad guys keeping tabs on you! God Bless! CIH

I'm sending you some of my force field just in case you did jinx it. Maybe that's why I've never experienced this. Even when I'm down and so sad and defeated, my belief and spirit never really wavers. I ask for help, strength, clarity, support... or whatever I'm looking for. I've had very vivid dreams of people who come to me in support of me though, not something that would try to terrify me. Last dream I had was of my exes grandmother, oddly. I've never dreamed of her once. But she said, "You're going to be fine. It's all about what you're learning." I feel like that was a guide, or angel who took her form. I was worried for a second she might have passed, but she hasn't.

I was worried for a second she might have passed, but she hasn't. Funny you say that, I talk to my Nana (passed) every night and even when I have these episodes, I will call her to come to my aid. She is always in my dreams, most times telling me she is with me. When she passed, I couldn't make it home in time for her funeral. It is said that on the 40th day, the soul finally rises and leaves the earth. That night I had a dream. She was dancing to X'mas music and I was in a corner watching her and started crying telling her not to leave me. She picked me up and hugged me so tight and said, "My babygirl, you know I'll always be by your side." And she slowly vanished. I woke up with my face wet with tears sobbing. I called my mom and told her the dream. With detail I described what she was wearing. My mom gasped and said, "That is what I buried your Nana in." I know she is with me. I digress. 2

Author M30USA Posted April 17, 2013 Author Posted April 17, 2013 Here are some details about my experience I forgot to include in my OP: 1) The silhouette creature wasn't the normal size or shape that is reported in sleep paralysis. Usually it's an average height, generally human-looking shadow who, strangely enough, wears a rimmed hat. Mine was 3-4 feet and behaved more like a gargoyle or imp. It was even crouched down. 2) There was zero communication--as far as I'm aware of--between the creature and myself (other than my assumed eye contact even though he had no eyes that I could see). 3) I wasn't scared this time. The first few episodes in my past, even though I saw no beings or creatures, I was absolutely terrified. I had the typical feeling like I would die if I couldn't snap out of the clamping paralyzation. But this time I was just more of an observer. Even while looking at the creature I didn't feel like I had to make a break for it. I think I was aware, based on scripture, that demons are actually the ones who are afraid of Christ--not the other way around. I recalled that when Jesus encountered multiple demons they actually begged him not to cast them out or harm them. Maybe this knowledge kept me from being terrified of whatever it was.
pureinheart Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 I have sleep paralysis every now and then, I actually like the sensation, unless I'm having a nightmare. That freaks me the hell out, I had one the other night of being chased by a werewolf, it just went on and on and I knew I was dreaming but couldn't wake up from it when I wanted to. I'm planning to go Nightmare on Elm street during my next one and see if I can change the course of the dream and take control. Do you have reoccuring dreams/nightmares? I had a series of 5 nightmare/dreams- the first 4 I was driving in a convertable on a road the was winding around a mountain, it was a little high up there. I'd drive off the cliff, experience the fear and wold wake up...the 5th one my car soared through the air and I felt peace and they stopped...too weird eh!
pie2 Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 I also have this odd infatuation with angels, so virtually every corner of my apartment has some angel figurine, one being Archangel Michael, and one which is draped in rosary beads direct from the Vatican in Italy. I have a feeling that M30 could provide you with more info than you ever thought you'd want to know! However, spirituality is complex. I don't think there is an absolute rule for deciphering any of this. Perhaps the only golden rule when experiencing something spiritual is to look at the FRUIT of it. Did the experience make you MORE or LESS in conformity with Jesus Christ? If a terrifying vision causes you to run to Christ, then it was for the good. If a peaceful and comforting vision causes you to continue in disobedience to Christ, then it was for the worse. Look at the fruit. Darkness and lightness aren't even good indicators. Satan himself can appear as angel of light. Look at the fruit. Very true M30...very true! :)
Robert Z Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 I woke up paralyzed. This is the first time I've ever actually seen a being. It looked like it was a silhouette of a 3-4 foot creature crouching down on my window sill. It didn't jump on me or attack me (as is common in these reports) but it just stayed there and observed me. I heard a ruffling or shuffling noise as it sat there and moved its arms and legs. After 15 seconds of me looking right back at it, the creature shot off across the room and left. Then I snapped out of paralysis. The whole time I saw the creature it was not a dream. I could see the rest of my room with complete detail, down to the individual blinds over the window. Please describe this creature in detail. What color and/or shape were the eyes? What was the shape of his head and how large? Did it have teeth? Did it have ears? How much would you estimate that it weighed? I don't know what a imp or gargoyle looks like. Could you describe the key features that make it impish or gargoylish. What was the shape and size of the nose? How long was the neck? How many fingers? How big were the feet? Was it naked or clothed? Male or female? Did you see genitals? When it ran, did you feel the vibrations on the floor? Did you smell it?
Author M30USA Posted April 18, 2013 Author Posted April 18, 2013 (edited) Please describe this creature in detail. What color and/or shape were the eyes? No eyes, at least from what I could see. What was the shape of his head and how large? Pretty normal shape and normal size for its body proportions. Did it have teeth? Didn't see. Did it have ears? Yes, they appeared pretty angular. How much would you estimate that it weighed? If the silhouette/shadow being were a real, flesh being then I estimate it would be about 3 feet tall and probably weigh about 40-50 lbs. I don't know what a imp or gargoyle looks like. Could you describe the key features that make it impish or gargoylish. Its most pronounced feature was its angular body. It was pretty thin and was clearly curled over as it was sort of "perched" on the window sill in a the position that baseball catcher assumes. It gave me the impression of having stealthy, agile motions. I even heard ruffling and scuffling. What was the shape and size of the nose? How long was the neck? Couldn't tell because it was curled up. How many fingers? Seriously? How big were the feet? I didn't take notice. Was it naked or clothed? Neither. It was an image of a body but not flesh or real. Male or female? I'd say androgenous Did you see genitals? I'm getting the impression that your quesetions are mocking me, lol. When it ran, did you feel the vibrations on the floor? It didn't run. It dashed or flew through the air. And the whole time I saw it, I heard this scuffling and shuffling noise. It also sounded like there was some wind blowing, but I'm not too certain about that. Did you smell it? Nope. Edited April 18, 2013 by M30USA
pureinheart Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 My best guess is that their purpose (assuming they are demons attacking) is to instill fear in their victim so as to prevent them from further advancing in Gods purpose. I think that if a person prays and receives the Holy Spirit, and subsequently has a terrifying experience like this, the natural reaction would be to think, "Gosh I must have done something wrong, that's the last time I'll do that." But it was nothing more than Satan realizing you were getting into his territory and wanting to scare you away. The same thing is true with the Christian life as a whole. Oftentimes we will choose what is right, then we will suffer for it-- while those who do wrong will seemingly succeed. Bold- priddy much. I have found this to be true with intercession also. When someone intercedes for me I always plead the Blood over them. I know this is wrong, although I have to come to desparate situations before asking for prayer- I know what's on the other end of that intercession. M30, I don't mean to sound flaky, my comprehension is lacking lately, although I also have opened the door for the enemy to come in and attack me ...there is Godly consequence, but there have been times that I know I opened the gates of hell...these memories keep me in line as they are unforgetable. 1
todreaminblue Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 The other night I had a typical sleep paralysis episode. (I say typical not because I personally get them often but because it followed the routine sequence that is reported by many.) I woke up paralyzed. I could see the rest of my room with complete detail, down to the individual blinds over the window. I find this episode has occurred after a week of me praying fervently for God to impart his Holy Spirit on me. I recall actively giving Christ permission to have authority over me and host my body as his "temple". My brother told me this prayer does NOT make Satan happy. Satan would prefer any prayer over that--be it a prayer for success, healing, money, etc. But my brother thinks, just like Christ who was targeted by Satan in the desert after his baptism, I was targeted by a demon after they saw the result of my prayer. They are "keeping tabs" on me like a military keeps tabs on persons of interest in enemy territory. Please if you comment I don't want any jokes or ridicule. I'm aware of the sleep paralysis theory in psychology and the science of sleep, etc. Those are theories and don't account for the profound subjective experience in millions of people who have this. look i believe you.....i see shadows sometimes when i wake...i hear voices....i go to sleep with a fave movie or music on to stop me being woken up.......i am not goign to repeat what these voices tell me...it is really bad soemtimes.......it is when i feel things are going great and i am going to make it.....with my faith ......or receive answers or warm feelings to prayers and direction or guidance......the voices go opposite....it is all bad......snickering laughing at me...when i say something they will bring it back to me and twist my words and make me feel insecure...i hear them often i choose to ignore them ....and i pray when i do ....they go away and my heart lifts.....yes i am schizo affective....and its hell.....at times......you dont know if its real or rperceived....or demons....could be any of the above...the voices hit me when i am in need of comfort...the only comfort i then get....is in prayer not meddication...deb 2
pureinheart Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 Yes, the reason why I am a Christian is because of such experiences. Basically I called on the name of Christ and they dusted. The other day as I was coming out off sleep there was a demon beside my bed trying to influence me to have sexual thoughts but I brushed him away without even having to pray. He left because I could see him. I have learned that it means that something good is coming and the entities want you to be afraid of them more than what is coming from God. Bless some water and sprinkle it around your house. Ask the Holy Spirit to cover you before you sleep as they enter mainly through our dreams. Tighten up on your spiritual practice of reading the Bible and pray forgiveness for anyone who has hurt you. Finally, make sure you do not watch porn as this is a gateway for them. So too are suicidal thoughts etc. Also, soak your feet in salted water and pray. It gets rid of any dark energy from such experiences. Take care, Eve x Eve, this may sound weird, although awhile back I heard a teaching that stated this is a gift of sorts, meaning the spiritual realm manifesting itself to humans. This rarely happens. I wish I could remember all of the teaching so that this post could make better sense.

The only Scripture that comes to mind for us is, casting down all vain imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and pulling into captivity every thought unto the obedience of Christ. For God did not give a spirit of fear, but power, love and a sound mind. I can do all things through Christ that strengthens me. Now therefore there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. I speak Psalms 91, 92 and 2nd Chronicles 20 thru 20 over or homes in Jesus name. By His stripes we are healed. We shall live and not die to declare the works of the Lord. Ok, well, I remembered more Scriptures:) 2

Eve Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 Eve, this may sound weird, although awhile back I heard a teaching that stated this is a gift of sorts, meaning the spiritual realm manifesting itself to humans. This rarely happens. I wish I could remember all of the teaching so that this post could make better sense. I am not sure it is a gift - but then again I prefer to remain humble because too much ego can be a dangerous thing, lol. Personally, I think it is a case that some off us retain memories of when we could actively see, hear, smell and communicate with the Guardians God sends to bear witness to our lives. I am talking from birth onwards here. I can clearly remember playing with my Guardians and could feel my daughters Guardians at their births. I am aware of my Guardians more than the demons. They are far more interesting, lol. It is also passed on within families - my youngest is very aware of spirit. Take care, Eve x 2
elplague Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 Agreed E, although I know what M30 is talking about, it happened to my daughter when she was 7 yrs old- I had allowed some really bad spirits into the house and she was attacked with the same thing that M30 describes. I'm not inferring that M30 has allowed anything demonic, but attack is attack. Well, that depends on belief. I don't believe in evil spirits, demons or anything of the like. I think folks who do aren't giving the imagination and creativity of the human mind enough credit; if our minds are powerful enough to imagine things like demons, dragons, fairies and the like, then it's completely possible that a belief held as strongly as those some religious folks here adhere with can create these images without it being reality. When going through the worst part of Graves Disease (hyperthyroidism w/goiter...have been healed from goiter and thyroid issues) different parts of my body would go completely numb and paralysed..it was soooo scary to wake up like that- but this is different. Never heard of this disease, but any malady hopefully would be cured. 2
elplague Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 It's also morally required that we admit that these sleep paralysis incidents occur across a very broad spectrum of humanity, adhereing with many belief systems, not all of which involve demons or demonic entities. Assuming such, it's difficult to make the claim a demon visited you, or specifically paid attention to you, when so many people, atheists included, also encounter this very specific and vivid recollection. Sleep paralysis - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia The wiki article explains in detail the phsychological implications. Moreover, it also describes how other cultures report these incidents. It's nothing abnormal, and references include demons, specters, ghosts and witches, hags and wraiths. I'd attribute this more to the basic fact and adhere with occam's razor, which implies the mind is creating a fear based scenario to cope and understand sleep paralysis, the implications of which are far less complicated then the existence of said supernatural beings. 3
KatZee Posted April 18, 2013 Posted April 18, 2013 My best guess is that their purpose (assuming they are demons attacking) is to instill fear in their victim so as to prevent them from further advancing in Gods purpose. So because of this thread, I went home last night and smudged my apartment. Haven't done so in a little while. I went through each room banishing all evil/negativity. I then read a few passages from the bible and a few psalms out loud. I went to bed and last night I had a REALLY creepy dream. I was a mother figure to this child who was evil. He was murdering people and burning their bodies. I went to a window and I saw it was snowing outside. Except it wasn't snow, but human ash. It was piled thick on the ground and on all tree limbs. I went into the room where this child was and I took a knife and began stabbing him, I stabbed him from behind over and over and over. I stabbed him in the neck. When he fell on his back I came at him from the front and began stabbing his heart over and over to ensure he was dead. He was not dead, he stood up and I hacked his entire head off his body. Now... I don't know what the hell to make of that dream. The dream did not instill fear into me. I know for some it would scare the begezzus out of them. There was no fear on my end. I've never had such a violent dream before though.
