Question about forgiveness, if given the oppurtunity to get back with your ex...

Ok I am 21 and my ex is 20...we are broken up and now she is seeing someone new who goes to her same school and stays at his apartment almost every night.

Her and I have only done serious things with eachother. However, if someday she wants to get back...and I still want her...should I be able to forgive her if she did have sex with someone else? I believe if you really someone you can forgive them no matter what. So I was just wondering what everyone thought..PLEASE respond if you can..

 

 

Also she has been seeing this guy for a month...and she leaves to study abroad in France in January for 5 months...so what do u all think about that...girls and whoever give me some advice on that one....THANKS!

If my ex wanted to get back with me I would definitely turn him down. Then again, he was pretty cruel when he broke up with me, so why would I want to go back to someone like that?

 

I think you need to move on. Don't sit around thinking "What if she wants to get back together?", because that might not happen. Just go out and have fun. Try to meet new people and get on with your life.

I don't do second chances..I figure if the person was willing to risk what they had once by breaking up, then they are likely to do it again and don't appreciate what they have.....

Sounds like you already know what to do...

 

For me, even after my ex broke up with me and I "ran away" without talking to him about it...he found another girlfriend and later we got back together and I never thought anything about it. I slept with him cuz I care about him and I always feel so good with him.

 

However, I had to end it nearly 5 weeks ago with a no contact rule. He agreed and we've been apart with zero contact.

 

The only way to know is to follow your own rules, no one elses.
