siankat Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 (edited) Hi folks A couple of people on here have observed/felt that not being in contact with you ex gets really hard at the three month mark. For those that have gone passed this point do you recognise points where it got worse then better? I think it might be a mixture of curiosity, feeling stronger and therefore the risk to be in touch doesn't seem so great to our current state of feeling better, maybe we are finally letting go and it's that last pull.. Also, when we repeat cycles in life i.e. breakups etc do people find themselves reverting back to their comfort zones of familiar behaviours, even if bad... :/ Thoughts? Mack05 Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 I think its just a certain stage in a relationship grief cycle. It's like an acceptance that they are not coming back, but you are clinging to the last shred of hope that they do.. 2
