digger Posted September 17, 2004 Posted September 17, 2004 when u go thru a divorce and you (me) hound and badger and plead to no avail--and then it becomes final and u all but disappear, letter wise, email wise, et all, is there any reason to believe then that the spouse may say to herself "uh oh--i really may lose him"?......even though shes acted like thats what she wanted the whole time

Ok, so your wife pestered you for a divorce, and now that you're giving her one, she's acting like she wants you back, is that it? Do you want to know why she's acting this way? Can you give some more information? For instance, what she's said, how's she's been acting both before and after you gave her the divorce? I want to reply, but I'm not sure what to say.
Author digger Posted September 17, 2004 Author Posted September 17, 2004 ill try to be more clear she filed--i begged---its final---she changed 180 degrees when she filed--full of hate---ive essentially gone away--and i wonder if now that i have she'll wake up and wonder "what have i done"!!!
findinmyway Posted September 17, 2004 Posted September 17, 2004 That's a possibility, but nothing definite. I think many people do have regrets and go thru what-ifs. But, I've also seen friends who said goodbye and never looked back. Depends on your situation.

I guess the best thing you can do is just move on with your life, and not sit around and wonder about her. If she did come back, would you want her back after being so hateful to you? Perhaps you can move on and find a nice woman.
Author digger Posted September 17, 2004 Author Posted September 17, 2004 yeah i proabably would--shes the love of my life. i can see sadness in her eyes on the few opportunities we meet even tho shes quote "found her happiness"..she doesnt look like it to me. if you knew us youd have said--theyll be together forever. Even she said it.
