So yeah hello to all on the forum, me and my gf have just broke up after a 2 year relationship. We met through my friend, we just got close then got together about 2 months later.

We have had ups and downs but always stuck by each other. We are both quite stubborn so this sometimes let to arguments but we always worked it out.

Anyway, it got to a point where every time we saw each other we would just start arguing and i just couldn't take it anymore so i finished her.

I still have feelings for her and its hurts so much when i think about her and i know she feels the same about me.

Its been about 3 days so far and we have spoken a bit but i don't know if i should forget about her and move on or give it one last try :/

What do you think ?

Have you two actually ever moved on?

had counselling?

Why the arguments?

You both have to want this, you see.

You both have to absolutely believe you two are made for each other, but you need to get past this hurdle and break the vicious cycle....

Or if none of the above, then go No Contact.

I favour the latter, myself.

I think once something's broken, trying to repair it doesn't have the frequent enough good results as one would hope.

And more often, the effort feels forced and contrived....

We have not had counseling and i know she probably wouldn't and the arguments are just over small petty things.

I do agree with that, i just want to make the right choice and not go back to square one 2-3 weeks down the line.
