Leegh Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Sometimes I think about an ex quite a lot, but I really don't want to see him. We have communicated some through email (talked about nothing "heavy"), and he has suggested meeting, but I'm just not feeling it. Even to get dressed up, make-up, etc., seems like it would be a hassle. The thing that I don't understand about myself, is that I think about him a lot, but I don't really want to start up again with him. My question is, is it normal to think alot about an ex, but not want to see him? He was an OK guy, not abusive or anything. Thanks for any comments.
TaraMaiden Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Yeah, it's normal. We invest a lot of time and memories in our exes. I get a huge amount of memories of my ex and family life. No pining or yearning though. And that was 26 years' worth....
Am4Real Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Perfectly normal. I also remember the first bike I had, the first kiss and yes the first time on home base. Memories are memories, but still don't want to relive any of the aforementioned, they just made me who I am and so will yours. Keep your head up!
