I've turned over a new leaf and am doing everything in my power to get out, be social, meet girls, etc... I am a good looking guy (I think), and tend to have a life of the party type of personality when I'm out and feel comfortable. I've always been told that girls like assertive and confident men, but it seems that a lot of times even though I am making them laugh and engaging them I am coming up empty. Not a lot of phone numbers, and even less dates. Where does assertive and confident cross the line into seeming like a douchebag and player? Ladies I'm looking at you on this one, I am a nice guy and treat girls well, are there some secret signals I could be giving off that are turning women off?

The "player" vibe doesn't turn women off (contrary to what you see on here). You're asking the wrong questions to the wrong people.
