ana0pera Posted April 16, 2013 Posted April 16, 2013 Anyone else experience this? I am using OKC and another lesser-known site (that caters to people interested in my racial group). My profiles are pretty much the same, same pics and everything, but I am getting little to no interests on OKC even though there are loads of guys in my area (Silicon Valley...hello engineers!) and I have good match scores with most of them. I am getting loads of interest on the other site, but it's all from men far away and while I am having fun with it, it's annoying!! There are no men on that site in my area. None at all. Well, maybe one or two but they're like 50+ and I am 24 so it's not going to happen. I just got out of a relationship so am not looking to jump right into something anyway, but I thought it'd be good for me to flirt and put myself out there and potentially go on dates. I knew that I would get more attention on the special interest site being that it is for people who are interested in dating my race, but I didn't think the difference would be this great. Especially because OKC is free and the other site is not (you can only communicate with paying members unless you are both online at the same time). The conclusion that I am drawing is that the guys in my area are mostly not into women of my type. Which is fine, whatever. Frustrating though because I don't want to get into another LDR scenario if I don't have to! But all the men who want to date me are overseas :D
