mtnbiker3000 Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 So, now that we've all been on here venting, grieving and healing. Some of us trying very hard to learn and move on in a positive way. What are the odds that we will be back in the future? It seems very depressing to think that after all of this pain, discomfort and heartache, that it can happen again. Are some of us just destined to be the dumpee time and time again, no matter what we do? Maybe personality traits or unresolved issues. Or does it depend on the RS and the partners involved? I bring this up, because I have been heartbroken before, and now I am again, and I am wondering if there is a pattern I need to address in me, or is it just the way it goes? I mean, I think I am pretty well adjusted and don't carry around too much if any baggage… Thoughts?
iouaname Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 I don't know - I would like to think that I've learned a lot from this experience. I should have ended things with my ex long before he ended things with me, and so I think that next time I am in a relationship that I'm unhappy in, I'll be strong enough to get out. Then again, if I get dumped, at least I will have learned a lot from this time around and will handle things much differently.
