alanab33 Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 Really need help. So i broke up with my boyfriend about 2 1/2 months ago. Things just hadn't been working out for a while, but because we were living together we tried to make it work. My parents were aware that I wasn't happy. I knew for about 1 year that it wasn't what I had wanted. So i decided to leave and move closer to home which was 2 1/2 hours away. Didn't wanna move in with my parents, so decided to move in with a guy friend that was also looking for a roommate to share the costs. Started falling for this guy who had been my guy friend for a couple years. Not too sure how to tell my parents that I am now dating this guy that I am currently living with. Not sure how they are going to react because I had moved so quickly. But I really feel like this feels right! Need help as to how to tell my parents. Any suggestions?

They can make a big deal about it and not like the idea, but that doesn't mean you have to listen to it. My mom and I never argue anymore, ironically, but if we did, I could always just leave.
