I've been JUST friends with her in the past after our initial break up and to see her with other guys kills. I'm not willing to put myself through that again, so now, NC is the only way to go. A very sad end indeed to a powerful relationship. I bet it's tough when the ex breaks NC like yours did. Does it make you feel like you're back to square one? I don't think it's quite sunk in with me yet that I've said goodbye to her forever. The reason my attitude is strong though is because no matter how hard it is, I know deep down I've done the right thing. Like the old saying goes, "if you love someone, let them go" That is of course after you've tried a relationship! Anyway, only just coming up on day 4 of NC so the road is still long but I look forward to the future and moving on with MY life. Stay strong!

Except it feels a whole lot worse this time. The stupid thing is when we were in nc i felt this overwhelming feeling building of hope that she would reach out. It hurts so much that it was so easy to come back in my life for two weeks, then just disappear again, all on her terms. I just feel so lost. I dont know how to get it in to my head that she doesnt want to be with me, and just accept that. I read all these stories about peoples ex's giving them second chances for doing things that are seemingly unforgivable and wonder why i dont matter enough to get one. I never mistreated her. And thats all I want. A second chance. I wish I could look in to the future and find out if she will ever come back. 1
