LostOne1 Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 Sucks because I was having an awesome day with lots of good news. I have my eye on a new girl after a break up almost a year ago. She seemed interested in me and I met her online. Little did I know she was also in one of my classes at my Uni. I met her in class and after literally 3 or 4 words she seemed so uninterested when I talked to her in class. After that she has been ignoring me and I gotta admit it sucked. So I finally got tired and I gave this girl a letter and a valentines day card (that I had but didnt have the guts to give her). I gave it and she knew I had the card, but had not given it to her. Anyway as the story goes she ignores me still. I gotta say I thought after she would at least talk. But nothing from her end. We got one last class next week, then I'll probably never see her again. I guess it sucks, because I haven't gone out of my way for awhile for a girl to get her a card and write a letter and all. Guess I'm just posting to vent, because this girl was really my type. I sadly she never gave me a chance even to sit down once and have a chat. But I guess the pain has motivated me to want to do something productive with my work or school now.
mcdo Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 The fact you're putting yourself out there again is a great sign. Rejection happens unfortunately. Just gotta pick yourelf up and try the next one. I've been at this stage too lately, except every week I seem to be attempting a new girl! It's interesting/exciting to say the least. My success/failure rate lately has been rejection-success-rejection... if the pattern continues then I'm in for a good weekend 1

Heck who knows, maybe she did want to and she wanted me to ask. But this girl seemed like she was totally my type kinda old fashioned in some ways. But you guys are right.. I put myself out there. I had the guts to tell her how I feel be it in a letter or card. But I doubt many guys have done that for her. If she can't appreciate that.. then I guess she's not worth it I suppose.
