Emissary Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 So I've been casually seeing this girl for over a month now, been having getting time to spend with her since she's currently a full time student with work on the side. I was beginning to doubt she really wanted to be with me, but I guess she just more or less confirmed I was wrong a few minutes ago. We met through my work as a server at Tim Hortons, she is of course a regular customer. I don't really talk about my personal life much there, but my co-workers eventually clued in that I was involved with her. One of my co-workers is rather psychotic, she's sort of engaged to this one guy she just met, but she also seems to have a thing for me. I don't think she's exactly pursuing me, but I think she's very into the idea that we're tragic lovers that can't be with each other because of her involvement with her fiancee. I actually despise her, at work I'm passive with her at best. Anyway, it's my day off, but apparently she decided to talk to my girlfriend about me while filling out her order. My girlfriend was amused and texted me, recapping the brief conversation they had. Psycho co-worker: You're such-and-such's girl right? Girlfriend: Yeah I guess. Psycho co-worker: The moment I met Such-and-such we clicked. What kind of psycho does that? But at the same time I'm thrilled she texted me that exact response, she willingly admitted to me that we're at least somewhere in the relationship zone.

When it comes to things as important as an exclusive relationship, you guys need to sit down and discuss where you stand. 'yeah I guess' is not any sort of confirmation. Assumptions when it comes to this stuff is a big no-no. 1
