tuxedo cat Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 (edited) As a lesbian with many guy friends, I can say that's pretty true. I've had a few gf's that declared undying love and then just bailed without any discussion. I'm not saying guys never do it, but seeing both sides of the coin, I think women are pretty good at the back handed breakup. I disagree with this. Men are generally less reflective and more compartmentalized in their thinking, so they are especially prone to going with a passing mood. Women are more likely to stew and consider a breakup from every angle, weigh pros and cons with their friends before making a decision, whereas men will cross a sudden point of no return. It's true that a woman may be more likely to deceive a guy into believing everything is fine while she is deciding whether to stay with him, but a guy's feelings can flicker on and off like a temperamental light. tuxedo cat Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 What I meant is women tend to dump a man without too much discussion. So even though they might have thought about it, or had another guy in the wings they can spring it on you without much fanfare before hand. This couldn't be more untrue.
martys Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 going back to the main title of this topic, whilst you two are together im sure feelings and love is there, but once it's over, then them feelings naturally fade away, depending on the breakup ofc. i know i meant nothing in my relationship because i found out, lol, can find the thread of it through my profile.
