Hey everyone,

I work with MM. I initiated NC as much as was possible with us working together. Its been a few weeks. He still looks/stares at me all the time. Told me he missed me when I had to approach him about a professional matter. The other day in a meeting, however, he was flirting with another coworker right in front of me. Wtf? I know I shouldn't care, but it was such a jerk thing to me. Thoughs? Thanks... they help.

He's just trying to see if he can get a response from you, invoke a reaction that would show you're still in the game.

If it's over for you, you should ignore and move on.

the thing about affairs is that people are addicted to "hot & cold" of it.

seems like he knows what he's doing, and is hell-bent on reeling you back in.

as my fellow poster Pierre has said many times..... this is textbook cheater behavior.

I thought about the reaction thing...but he was across the room from me. I don't even think he knew I was watching. My chair was facing his way, but he didn't like look over to see if I was noticing or anything.

Maybe he's just on to his next conquest. That's the hurtful part, even though it's over. We carried on for a couple of years. Makes it all just feel like a game. He lost. Start New Game.

If he's hell-bent, that's definitely not the way to even try. I ignored him way more than usual today. Wouldn't even look at him when he passed me.

That just seems mean to me. :( I hope he gets his act together.
