I am 17 years old and have never had a good relationship with a girl, because I am absolutly head over heels for this girl named Chris at my school. I had some help from my friend and I was able to ask her to the homecoming dance at my school, but she made it quite clear to me that it was JUST AS FRIENDS! So I went to the dance. Their when I slow danced with her I was asked "did your friends make you do this or did you want to" I said "both"! Then she asked me if I was ok because I was really shaking and I did not even notice it because I was focused on how she was getting closer! So after that I talked to one of her friends and told her friend I really liked Chris I figured she knows. It has been a while and I have the same lunch period with her every day but I don't sit with her because she might think I am a stocker! She is also in my Math class and I have talked to her once during class and she seemed happy unuf! Finally, my friend likes her to but not many other guys like her. My friend is ok with me going out w/ her because I like her MUCH more. I have allot of friends that are girls and my best friend has a very serious relationship with his girlfriend. I am not the greatest looking guy but not that bad I also am very kind. Chris is very cool so if ANYONE can help please help me! I might be going extreem but I think I love her and need help. I know girls know girls better then anyone so if anyone could lend a thought that would be the answer to my prayers! P.S.- If your going to be a jerk about it please don't respond (that only includes insults!)

Then ask her if she wants to go hang out at the mall or go see a movie or something. Come on you can do it Chris

She does have a licence but if I do ask her she might feel weird and reject me and not be friends anymore. She already told me that we were going to the dance as just friends even after I asked her. Oh man.....

So she wants to go as just friends? Well okay then! use that to your advantage! become her friend. find out about her likes/dislikes, her ambitions, her dreams, what makes her tick. Become a good friend - even if that's all she wants at the moment. Believe me, the closer you get to her and the more and more she is aware of your pressence, you will start to creep into her thoughts and she will start to associate you with feeling happy and good about herself. I can't guarantee that she will fall head over heels in love with you straight away but i can tell you from what ive experienced and witnessed.... when somone makes an effort to become friends with their crush- it nearly always develops into more eventually. You just need to spend time with her and make yourself known to her. good luck! i know it's hard to be in a situation of unrequited love- but you can do it!!!!

Author xale Posted September 16, 2004 Author Posted September 16, 2004 Well when I decided to seek advice I got no where, and I ended up using this fourm as my last resort but I also used http://www.able2know.com to get double the advice I got alot more responces on A2K then here but I got some great advice from here. But it is strange A2K seems to be down at the moment, well just thoiught I would add that thanks for the help and all. I am still focused on Chris, evry thing is always second in my mind to her it's strange when you like a person any little thing they do is enchanting but to them it's not even in their thought process....
