icsvortex Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 I casually met a girl who works at a local night club. Been going there for years and never really noticed her, thought I didn't stand a chance. Anyway out of no where we exchanged numbers and started texting she said she couldn't do a relationship but we went on a few dates and had fun, but I had to leave for work for 3 weeks soon after. During my work out of state she texted everyday and called me babe, honey, etc...said I was her boyfriend but still had to officially ask her missed me and wanted to be with me all that stuff. Well after my 3 weeks was up I come back home, she's at the airport with my mom picking me which was March 25th. We hungout a lot that week, went to dinners, had movie nights, sex got involved. Then I noticed after a week and a half she backed way off, stopped with the names, then said that "she needed to take a step back and think about things". So I gave her space didn't text didn't call. She didn't either until I made the mistake of going to that club one night last week with my buddies. She text me the next day said it was good seeing me blah blah" So I got dragged out to that same bar this saturday and same thing sunday "hey just so you know I appreciate you and I did need time to think I'll call you tomorrow"...she didn't. She would only text me after I would show up and party my ass off. So yesterday I get this long text (9) paragraphs about how she didn't mean to keep me waiting, she wants to give a 100 percent to our relationship and can't right now, she wants to keep me in her life and doesn't want me to shut her out or hate her but understands if I do. I just replied "friends is fine thanks for the text" she said "okay cool and your welcome". So what I'm wondering is I have a birthday party for my friend at her bar tonight. I've got to go. But all my buddies say to go with this girl which I am....I'm just wondering what is gonna be the reaction of my ex fling...should I expect her to be pissed or cry or what? I don't necessarily want to be a dick but all her friends are shot girls and bartenders here so if I walk in with a chick she will find out quick. I think going with the girl is a good idea even after just one day of friend zoning me....any thoughts??????

Echo000 Posted April 10, 2013 Posted April 10, 2013 i wouldnt expect anything my man..girls often try to be very proud and she may feel like if she contacts you after then its obvious it bothered her. If she has any feelings for you at all..i mean any..then it will bother her. If it does..she MAY contact you..but like I said, dont be waiting around for a message from her. Easier said than done, no doubt. Your goal for the night should be to treat this girl your bringing with respect and attention, and to have a good time with your buddies. That is it.

As a veteran of the bar scene, played in bands for years, I will tell you first hand this ALWAYS ends with either you not going to this club anymore or her quitting. One or the other. Always...
