Serious this time or still playing games?

I have been dealing with a man for almost 4 years off and on.. main problem is he has been hurt before and has serious trust/commitment issues.. he knows how I feel about him, He knows I want to be with him yet he still hasnt made the move. I finally got fed up and told him I was done since he hasnt made any kind of effort. We were NC for exactly a month, which is really difficult to do when u work with each other, we didnt speak or even look at each other when we had to deal with each other. Out of the blue I ran into him in the hallway one day, he kissed me and held my hand as we walked down the hall together. Ever since then he has been acting different (In a good way). He seems like he is really making an effort.. doing things I know are way out of his comfort zone, however I dont want to get my hopes up if things dont go the way I would like them to.. Just not sure how I should proceed with him or things I can look for to show me that he might be finally ready to commit.

Well I would say you can take this out of the blue action as a renewed sign of his interest, but I think it is too soon to tell. See if he keeps offering you some signs and go from there. If you aren't ready to give up on things with him, then let his actions be your guide going forward!

But in my opinion you should let him do the first move. You said that it was his problem, not yours.

Don't wait forever and don't take it too seriously. Meanwhile, live your life, meet new people etc.

Thats the thing.. I dont know what signs to look for.. he has done a couple things that make me think he may be serious this time but part of me is still leary.. I really want to be with him, which is why I havent given up on him completely.. I guess only time will tell and I should see how it plays out.
