BeatsW Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 Ok - I went out on a nice little date with a fine young lady last Thursday. Things went well, I think. We had a brief text chat on Friday - I accidentally forgot something over at her place when I was picking her up. I was out of town over the weekend, and ended up smashing my phone in half. So now I'm without her number, and don't really want to pop in on her at her place. Is that fair? Even if I did decide to pop in tomorrow, I'd be doing so by walking a mile in about 12" of snow, which seems a little desperate to me. Then again, I left something green over there which could fit the day's mood nicely... I'll get calling ability back by Wednesday. Should I wait to call her then, or give her the unexpected 'howdy' tomorrow?
ComeUpOutDaWahta Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 No no, definitely wait and contact her first. Never just pop up. That bubonic chronic can wait. Unless she "disposes" of it herself. In which case... try to take better care of your phone from now on! 1
Poppy fields Posted April 9, 2013 Posted April 9, 2013 She probably already smoked it all anyway. Especially if you guys are stuck in snow. Not much else to do. Can you blame her? 1
Author BeatsW Posted April 9, 2013 Author Posted April 9, 2013 (edited) You two just made my night. Bubonic chronic? I'm buckling here. There's a slight chance that I wont be able to recover my contacts on Wednesday - leaving me in the same predicament here just two days later. Nothing else do to? Exactly. I'd pop over, conveniently have the thing to do and voila, we're making snow-angels and live happily ever after (no - I think we're both just looking to start a summer fling). Edit: I also got a black eye when I hit the tree and broke my phone this weekend. I kinda wanna use that to its full advantage while I still look like a badass? Edited April 9, 2013 by BeatsW
