Ok so I have been dating this guy for like 3 weeks and we aren't exclusive but we sorta act like we are! He isn't seeing anyone else I know for a fact because he is a fire fighter and an er tech so he only really has time for me. I am with him almost ever day when he gets off work, he is constantly calling me and wanting to be with me. He calls me to tell me he misses me all of the time even after the fact of us having sex. I want to be his girl friend but how do I bring it up with out scaring him or pushing him away? He always tells me that I should just surprise him at be at his house after work but I told him I wasn't like that and I wasn't just going to invite myself over with out asking first but he keeps telling me to do that! Ok and last night we were laying in bed and I have this ring on my ring finger and he kept playing with it and taking it off and putting it back on, so what does that mean also? I don't know I am confused! When I first met him too he said he was looking for a girlfriend, so HELP me please I don't know what to do about this boy! Thanks!! Rebecca

This sure sounds like you are bf/gf to me. You don't need to bring it up and say'I want to be your g/f to be his gf. Some things you just know in your heart. I'm not really the type that bf/gf relationship has to be defined....as you know some people prefer to have more than one..... :rolleyes:

You should surprise him and go over to his house. I'm the type that need my g/f to call me before she come over to my place (for whatever reason.....). ...but, I think I'd like that surprise especially if she dresses up sexy or waiting for me with no clothes..... :p

I agree with Paradise - this guy sees you as his gf. Probably. Not sure how in depth the relationship may be after only three weeks. It also sounds like he has no other women around, because otherwise he would not suggest you drop by uninvited. So far, so good.

 

SUGGESTION: Ask him if it is OK to tell every one that you are now a committed couple - bf/gf.

 

SUGGESTION #2: If commitment is important to you, along with the possibility of marriage, wait more than 2 days before hopping into bed. It improves the odds in your favor and weeds out the losers way quicker.
