Lovels Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 Today it has been exactly one month since my ex girlfriend broke up with me after eight months of dating. Her reason for the break up was her feelings for me had changed. She no longer was in love with me. We had a long distance relationship. I would see her every other weekend and holidays. We she broke up with me via phone. I knew it was coming because our Valentine weekend was a disaster. She ran into some friends and introduced me as a "friend", she said she liked my Valentine's gift, but gushed over her ex's gift. After we broke up, we continued contact through text and after awhile, she began to talk to me as if we were still in a relationship. She still called me those nicknames and said how much she misses me and wants to see me. She even tells me she loves me. To be honest, this has been giving me hope that she wanted us to be together again, but as of yesterday, she's been distant and barely speaking to me. Although she still says she loves me, the way she usually speaks to me has stopped. Is there suddenly someone else? I think it would be easier if I just move on from her but it's hard.
hannah11 Posted April 7, 2013 Posted April 7, 2013 You've got the right idea. Move on. It is hard but since you don't see each other much anyways just use the no contact rules, it gets easier as you go. If you aren't sure what the whole no contact things is about just follow this link. http://www.loveshack.org/forums/breaking-up-reconciliation-coping/breaks-breaking-up/366654-caliguy-no-contact-guide-updated#post4510329
