I recently went on vacation, something I hadn't done in many years, and prior to the vacation I was excited about being able to get away and have fun. Vacation arrived and my friend and I arrived to our destination, within a day or so I noticed that I wasn't having a good time. I wasn't enjoying it, I wasn't having fun and I even tried to force myself to have fun which was odd considering that I've been to that place prior and always had fun.

And what seemed like a blink of an eye, it was over with and I'm back home. I look back and realize that it seemed as though physically I was there, but mentally I wasn't and not quite sure why. It almost seems like I've lost grasp on how to have fun in life and just live.

There's really no point to this, I'm just in a depressed mood thinking about it all. A chance to have fun, and it was gone with a blink of an eye and I didn't even enjoy it.

Maybe you're depressed and were before your holiday so going didn't make you feel good or have fun.

Have you noticed over all that you're not happy? Feeling blah and tired, unmotivated?

It is because I'm depressed, and after getting back from vacation and realizing I didn't have a good time made me even more depressed. I'm tired, unmotivated, and all of the above.
