Locust Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Sometimes you know that one girl in class you know her but you don't talk to her and you want to ask her out and so on from there. But sometimes you could be at a grocery store, on a bus or a bus stop, at the mall and you see this girl who catches your attention. Not long ago I saw a girl who caught my attention who was reading a calculus book on the bus and I really wanted to say something about the book she was reading since I like math and science. However, I just could not grow the balls to ask her so I just let the opportunity go. I got nervous and I tend to get nervous a lot when I want to be the first to make social interaction. I also seen other opportunities like this as well. Had one recently where a young pretty lady stand across from me glanced at me wit ha brief smile and I felt bad because I didn't acknowledge it wit ha smile back. I got a bit shy and looked away. But I think it was her good looks that intimated me, though. I wonder if women like it when a guy come up to her and have a small conversation with her.

If a stranger talked to me, I'll answer him But that doesn't meant I want to date him, I answer him out of politeness and for the sake of keeping in touch with other humans out there So next time you see a girl you like, try to talk to her....Maybe she'll like you or maybe you can be friends Worst scenario is she won't even reply, but that is not a big problem!
todreaminblue Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 If a woman is smiling to me thats open, if a guy doesnt smile back at em when i smile at him.....makes me feel insecure.....too ugly to smile at.feel like i am in the school playground again being ignored....now i wasnt an ugly girl....chubby yeah but not ugly....and i am nto an ugly woman.....btu when i smile at soemone i osrt of expect acknoledgement....i am not invisible...a smile costs nothing to give , and conversation well, isnt it nice to have one........talk, be open, be honest have fun....i understand the shyness but smile....then look away if you have to....or walk over ....and get your groove on....smilin atcha........best wishes.....deb

I do get several smiles a lot. I once a had a bunch of French girls and one of them got on one knee and sang to me, and people were look at me. She was a great singer. I seen to draw in Europeans the most.

It's like asking someone which fruit is their favourite, everyone will be different! Just give it a try, and be sure to pickup on responses. They'll open it up if they want to, otherwise they'll just look away. You don't really have much to lose if it's someone you don't know. 1
