has anyone ever gotten back with ex after a lonnnggg breakup?

has anyone every been broken with with by their ex, then their ex goes and dates someone else for a long time, and they you guys got back together?? if so, please tell me all and how you did it

You probably shouldn't do that. There's a reason why you two broke up. If you do get back together you will be thinking about what they did together, etc. Don't do it!

Yes, and it ended the same way again. Like a friend of mine said, once you take spoiled milk out of the refrigerator, if you put it back in, will it make it better? LOL

People have sex and say I love you all the time. It doesn't mean it's going to make the relationship work again. Chances are he told her the same exact thing and they also had sex....then again, it's not even about his other relationship, it's about yours. I say don't do it. It's so pointless to go back to the past like that. Blah to the past.

Two people I know broke up about 2 years ago from a 6 mo relationship. Things ended on good terms they just didnt feel like it was working out at the time. Eventually, she dated someone else and he went through two girlfriends during their time apart. Not sure of the in-between details, but they did start dating again and get this--

next Sunday they're getting married!! Guess they werent right for each other when they broke up, but the experiences they went thru while apart, somehow united them again .

 

Dont want u to get ur hopes too high though, sweetie. Sadly this is a rare instance and this fairytale ending probably wont happen with most of our exes--doesnt mean we're not gonna live "happily ever after" with someone else though

 

The best lesson to take from this story is not "yay! theres still a chance for me and my ex!!" but the idea of imitating them and genuinely moving on w/ ur life and let love--even reconciliation--take you by surprise!

I did it. My ex and I broke up in April and we got back together in July and I broke it off 6 weeks later. We are NOT together anymore. The sexual chemistry was there and "maybe love" I dont know.

 

Things got too weird, but, hey! that is my story.

 

I believe that ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE.

 

If you still love your ex go for it another round and find out --- perhaps you need to know. I am GLAD I did it. No one can stop you and if you feel that strong urge you may need to find out for yourself.
