superconfusedman Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 Hi Loveshackers, hope you can help. Around 6 weeks ago I found out that a girl I have had a crush on for a long time had split with her bf. She works for one of my customers (and is a friend of a friend) so we had seen/spoke briefly to each other a few times before, I had a chance to start up a conversation via email and after quite a few emails I asked her out for drinks, and she accepted. We ended up meeting for something to eat on a weeknight (due to various re scheduling on both parts for weekend drinks) and both had a good time and agreed to meet again. I have since asked her out to meet for drinks this Saturday night and she has agreed. NOTE: During one of the email conversations she mentioned she had split with her ex because she was going travelling late this year and he wasn't going. She also said she wasn't looking for a bf because that would be pointless (because she is travelling soon). Now.......what do you guys think is going on here? Reading the above does it look like she just wants a casual bf? just a bit of fun (dating and sex with no real commitment etc)? She has obviously stated she isnt looking for a bf but still agrees to meet up with me, and I have been pretty flirty via email so she knows I like her. Im not necessarily looking for a long term relationship, but would love to date her casually for a while if thats the only option. She is an extremely good looking girl (done professional modelling etc) and will no doubt have loads of guys hitting on her so strange she is meeting me (im not ugly but im no Brad Pitt), and she has lots of friends so im a little confused because she obv doesn't need more friends....... Any input to why she is meeting me/whats going on?
Author superconfusedman Posted April 2, 2013 Author Posted April 2, 2013 PS. No kiss on the first date or anything, although im pretty sure I blew an opportunity for one but thats a different story. I will be going for a kiss on Sat regardless just to know for sure but want to hear your thoughts first. Thanks!!
