ls32ssibm Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 Most of the "athletes" I know look like ottermode or skinnyfat. Juicers and people who crap supplements usually look like the "Althetic".
dasein Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 As much as women go on about unrealistic societal standards for women, a picture like that shows the truth that it's actually men who are more subjected to such. Half of those male bodies are actually "bodybuilder." 2
mesmerized Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 I have the Chubbyfat body. Oh, how much I hate it. I find it hard to believe that any female finds that sexy. Hell, I don't even call it sexy. I so got to lose it. I rather be Builtfat or Skinny than ChubbyFat. Dude, get off LS right now and go to a local gym! jk but good luck in losing the weight.
fortyninethousand322 Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 I'm a combination of "built fat" and "athletic". I'm always self conscious about my body though, I feel like I don't work out enough or hard enough, so I feel like my muscles are just too small. I'd like to put on like 40 lbs of muscle, it's just so hard to eat enough to put that much weight on.

My ex had a beer belly (not a huge one mind you) but it was jelly-like, and he was sexy!

Most of the athletes I know are ottermode or builtfat -- ottermode, builtfat, and bearmode are the real things you should aim for if you're not going for freakshow/aesthetics .. ottermode being pretty nimble, not much bodyfat, while "athletic" has an unhealthily low amount of bodyfat .. builtfat is what football athletes usually are, and bearmode is just a complete powerhouse for strength.

iKING Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 Believe it or not, women could care less about certain things. My ex had a beer belly (not a huge one mind you) but it was jelly-like, and he was sexy! Mine is closest to ottermode and I've never had anyone complain about it. 3
Divasu Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 Corrected it for you. Zanks. I'll rephrase: "Some women could care less about a little extra body fat". Mine is closest to ottermode and I've never had anyone complain about it. I'm sure they haven't... 1

Mme. Chaucer Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 I'm attracted to the build of the man I'm really into at any given time. That's covered a diverse range of body types in my life. 5
ScreamingTrees Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 (edited) I like scrawny men because I can through them up against a wall, have my way with them and not feel like Im thrusting against a tyrant in all seriousness Ottermode-Athletic intermediate here. You think you can do that to me? Maybe if I let you.. You've got another thing coming, girly.. And who thinks that there are mostly body building types here? Maybe this chart's a body builder's view of body types, but you have 6 fairly average body types and then 4 more diesel proper body builder bodies that mostly look the same to me, aside from the bear mode. Me, I don't care, I'm 110% happy with being the one that some people may consider scrawny, I just tell those people that I consider them to be fat bastards. Edited April 2, 2013 by ScreamingTrees

Thanks for acknowledging it. If such a picture were posted of women, with six of ten having the equivalent of bikini model bodies or close, the results here would be predictable and harsh.

Your Body Type - Ectomorph, Mesomorph or Endomorph? | Muscle & Strength I know that these are extreme examples, but I basically have the same proportions and body shape as the mesomorph... Wouldn't the ottermode = mesomorph? Or is the mesomorph of the same build but larger? I'm not seeing the difference, probably because there isn't much of one. I must be a mesomorph, then, because I definitely don't have the flat curveless shape of the ecto.

That guy plus a few pounds evenly distributed (not a gut) is still very attractive, imo.
Author chex Posted April 2, 2013 Author Posted April 2, 2013 Is the ectomorph necessarily always the tallest of the three types, btw? Imajerk17 Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 As long as there are muscles... I guess builtfat is closest to my number one preference, though it's hard to tell without legs. Personality means the most, though. I tend to like muscles more than skinny, though I like guys that are strong regardless of body type. A guy who otherwise looks skinny who I see do amazing physical feats suddenly gets quite attractive. Haha. I'd shamelessly hit on you runningfar if you didn't have a boyfriend and we were closer in age. (Not just for your looks but your posts.) I mean that in the most respectful way. According to the charts my BMI means I am squarely in the "overweight" category but it is muscle. I lift a lot. Not everyone's cup of tea but I work out for ME and not for what a woman might like. 1
ScreamingTrees Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 The otter is a very thin mesomorph. That guy plus a few pounds evenly distributed (not a gut) is still very attractive, imo. Which guy? I'm confused. lol The Ecto, or Meso?
xxoo Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 Which guy? I'm confused. lol The Ecto, or Meso? The otter. He's a meso, right? But he's very low body fat, hence the sex lines and the abs. A guy can have more body fat than that, evenly distributed, and still be very hot imo. He won't necessarily be as big as the "built fat" guy. There's just a very normal build missing, imo. 1
fortyninethousand322 Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 I'd like to look like this or this. I currently look like this (except white of course). Not sure where any of that fits on the chart... 2

If that is seriously how you look you ought to be getting girls left and right. I WISH I could look like that. And I am a good 3" shorter than you! And over 15 years older! You have no excuses bro. I mean that in the best possible way. 2
fortyninethousand322 Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 Those guys all have the same body build. lol Ray Lewis' shoulders are a bit smaller than Vernon Davis and John Cena. Similar body types but not exactly the same...
