guydownsouth Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Two days ago I dumped my girlfriend of around 2-3 months. I felt fine at first but now I'm starting to miss her. I also feel really bad for hurting her by dumping her. The reason I dumped her..and this might sound shallow..is that I saw her without makeup a bunch of times and my attraction to her plummeted, and I felt like I lost all interest even though I wanted to like her and wanted things to work. I also have been feeling really stressed about school lately and it's possible I took it out on her by dumping her. Is it normal for a dumper to feel regretful so soon after a breakup or should I consider asking her to get back together?
brokenhearted91 Posted April 1, 2013 Posted April 1, 2013 Wow. The quote "if you can't handle me at my worst, you sure as hell don't deserve me at my best". What a shallow reason to dump someone. There's more to life than how someone looks, beauty is in the inside. She's better off without someone so shallow in my opinion.

No, you did the right thing. ....Go let her find a man who loves her as much, and finds her beautiful, with makeup on, AND without. You made the right choice for both of you. Above poster: You stole my quote, my words out of my mouth...And the username I originally wanted! No fair! hahaahaha
lovelifexx Posted April 2, 2013 Posted April 2, 2013 I understand you that if you don't feel attracted to someone, you just don't feel it. However, you have a very unrealistic standard. You will have a difficult time finding someone who looks amazing all the time. Someday we will all be wrinkly and sagging, you included.
