Ladies who dig tall guys: Did you ever eagerly go for a shorter guy?

All the men I've dated and had LTRs with have been tall.

 

Sometimes I wonder if your (the general "your") first relationships are formative in terms of what you're attracted to. My two high school boyfriends were 6'6'' and 6'8''.

Like most women its tall men who light my panties on fire,i feel too many women settle for short guys because they feel its all they can get or feel a short guy would be less likely to cheat on them since tall men are in high demand by most women.

It happens. A woman who says she's only attracted to tall guys meets a shorter guy that she feels attracted to and her mind is blown.

 

Usually the guy is confident and has a badass aura around him. He probably doesn't think of himself as short in any way.

I don't understand why you'd be "secretly" hoping that there are more like your friend. There clearly are. Many women have height preferences, but are open to shorter men. The question isn't whether other women like your friend exist, the question is whether if you are willing and able to open yourself up to shorter guys.

 

You're agonizing over it b/c you see that sticking with taller guys isn't getting what you want either. But, you should also not feel guilty about having your preference.

 

Hey, I prefer women who are fit and toned. That's my preference, but I've dated some so-called average women. It's a preference. I don't feel guilty about it.

I seem to recall you being way into at least one short guy. Maybe my memory is off. I can only relate the experiences from women I know who similiarly like to be thrown around, and they never found happiness settling for a short guy who couldn't. Believe me, they tried. Maybe your friend just has a different taste.
