Leegh Posted March 31, 2013 Posted March 31, 2013 A divorced friend of mine in her 50's who does not want to re-marry has told a guy she has been going with that she has a son in another city, and visits him about once a month, which is not true. She has no children, but visits an old boyfriend there. She does not want to re-marry, but is there anything wrong with this, as long as she and her beau do not get seriously involved? I realize it is a bit odd, but if noone ever finds out, what is the big deal? She is financially very well off, and does not need a man for security, but she apparently likes both men. Would love to hear any thoughts or comments!

Would love to hear any thoughts or comments! I don't understand why a lady of that age would feel a need to lie about it anyway. She could say she is going to visit an old friend and that wouldn't be a lie really. Especially if she and the beau or not serious anyway. It sounds like she is playing the field and stringing the beau along some. IMO she has already screwed herself over by claiming she has a kid, that's a huge lie that she'll eventually get busted on.
