I gave my girlfriend a second chance after that she cheated on me, but I feel like she does not always tell me all the truth :-(

Dump her.

You know you have to.

I just looked at your other thread.

So, really, seriously.

Woman to woman:

Dump her.

Jeesh, she's playing you for a complete idiot.

For goodness' sake, don't prove her right.

A second chance is one thing. True remorse and subsequent forgiveness is possible. I don't believe the expression, "Once a cheater, always a cheater."

A third chance should never happen. I do believe, "Twice a cheater, always a cheater."

There's also the expression, "Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me" that would imply even a second chance is a stupid idea.

I tried to reconcile with my wayward wife for about 8 months after I found she'd been cheating. The ultimate problem was that she was still lying. I think I could have eventually forgiven the affair and reconciled with her, but I couldn't reconcile with someone that was actively lying to my face. We'd been together 19 years and had two small children. We divorced. You are not married and have no children? Cut your losses.

Thank you; I actually gathered that from your first post (sometimes I'm quicker than others). Thus the assumption about no children. Where I wasn't clear was if we're actually talking about a second or third chance. The OP is strangely worded. I'll eventually read the OP from her other thread (only seem to have a few minutes at a time today).

It may be best to not bother. Most of the sequential posts are from the OP....

('desperation' comes to mind.....)

BTDT, sorry to say. Counterproductive at minimum. Then add a dose of humiliation. No more for me, thanks.
