Some_random_guy Posted September 12, 2004 Posted September 12, 2004 There is this girl that I have a crush on. I've had a crush on her for a while and I know she at least used to like me. Like 3 years ago she smiled at me and kind of did the ole, walk in front of me to get attention thing. Well She knows of me still and I know of her. This summer I saw her a few times at her work place and we said hi a couple of times. I think we are pretty good for each other but both to nervous to get anything started. I am in college now and the only way I could talk to her is through instant messenger. I will probably see her again this summer. I was just wondering what everyone thinks I should do for an icebreaker. I don't really wanna send an I'm desperate for you message, but just something to get conversation started and hit if off from there. Any suggestions?
Paradise Posted September 13, 2004 Posted September 13, 2004 Find out when she’s not working and ask her if you can take her out. You can start by doing lunch or take her out in the evening if she prefer. You have to start hanging out together to find out if she really likes you.
kellydontwanttasleep Posted September 13, 2004 Posted September 13, 2004 i agree with Paradise, start with something small and build from there.
Zakar Posted September 13, 2004 Posted September 13, 2004 If the only way you can talk to her is through instant messanger, she'll realize this. She will start coming online a lot more often, especially during the times that you regularly come on. If not, that doesn't mean you've lost the battle because it hasn't really started. That's your ice breaker - the internet. Any guy can initiate any conversation with any girl when they're safe inside their room on the computer.
