The relationship is over, its broken, thus why fix it. Find something better, then when that relationship is over, broken, find another till you get married. Then When your married and that hits a rough spot get a divorced. Oh and mess up your kids along the way. Now that your divorced, remarry at the age of 40, now you have realistic expectations on love. If you don't divorce again, and repeat.

 

When things aren't perfect don't fix it buy (get) a upgrade.

 

This is normally what i think when people tell me it's over. Of course when someone breaks up with you it's not the same after. But this belief in whole and perfect relationships is gross. Shoot prince charming in the head, cause he's not it, and neither is the next guy.
