complete NC impossible due to shared interests - thoughts on how to deal?

Hi - I'm not going to go into the detail of our break up - that is captured in other threads.

 

But here is the problem I face. I have gone NC, no emails, BB, phonecalls etc, but we are both on a committee that meets once every couple of weeks, so I am going to have to face him on a regular basis. We also share a pastime that will mean I will see him probably weekly. I am not dropping any of my hobbies, just because I will see him.

 

Advice on how to deal with those situations gratefully received.

Ignore as best you can and keep conversations short or focused on the hobbies/committee.

thanks - but last week he approached me for conversation twice! So did his father separately - who was also there. He is very hurt by what is son has done. It is not in my nature to be rude. ???????????? How should I play it?
