cboy Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 I tried asking her to hang out again just 1 day after the first time. She said 'you know where to find me' the night before we said goodbyes. It was a sunny day! I went back into the fast food place, and saw that she looked scared/nervous to see me from across the room. I wanted to ditch the place, but went ahead to order anyway because I thought I was just being timid. But it felt like she didn't want to see me as she raised her eyebrows looking down while saying hi. When I asked her out again, she said she was tired. Should I risk feeling awkward by going to ask her a week or two from now? She is like 5 years younger than me in college. Is it even worth it? During the date, I felt like crap, since I forgot to bring cash during our 'hangout'. The place's cash register was broken, and she had to pay for our food. Money is NO problem for me, as I have a high paying salary. Add to the fact that she is still in college. Ugh. The last time I dated was almost 2 years ago.
Lani Posted March 25, 2013 Posted March 25, 2013 All sounds a bit awkward to me, but really, what have you got to lose? Be bold, and ask her when you can take her out to repay her and make up for her having to pay last time. Don't so much ask, as insist this is what you're doing. Use your mistake as something positive. I just hope it's a sunny day again.
Author cboy Posted March 25, 2013 Author Posted March 25, 2013 Thanks, I'll remember to pick a better day of the week next time instead of rushing it, since I was pretty tired Friday night.
